RIBA Conference

A University project to design a range of materials for 'Change in the city: opportunities for architects in the new urban agenda', a conference organised by RIBA (The Royal Institute of British Architects). This project consisted of three deliverables: an A2 poster to promote the conference, a programme that informs delegates about event details and a short animation that provides a visual cohesion between thee printed materials and delegate presentations. The animation is to be played between presentations at the conference.

When I begin each project I create a moodboard to help visualise different design approaches.

Before creating the animation I produced a variety of different options but I decided to go for a simple approach with coloured shapes. I thought this was more appropriate because the colours and shapes are taken from the poster and brochure, which ties everything together.
