While developing this my designs for this series I was determined to use my interest in illustration to create all the characters. To achieve the correct graphic feel and add texture I hand painted each character with gouache. I then scanned these illustrations and used digital pens to create added textures. I had a lot of fun creating these characters.
Throughout this project I experimented a lot with a variety of typefaces, placement, colour, textures and backgrounds to ensure that I was completely happy with the design and that it fit the brief.
