1000 Curious Questions

1000 Curious Questions is a book based on the weird and wonderful questions children ask. For this book, we contacted schools all over the world in the aim of answering actual children's questions for this book. Alongside the children's questions and the expert answers are beautiful illustrations, photographs, and diagrams to bring every topic to life in rich detail and with perfect clarity. I worked on this book from R&D stages right up to production. I find seeing a book from the very beginning stages to the end hugely rewarding. Collaborating with other creative members of my team helped us to create the best editorial outcomes.

The above shows the wide range of different layout ideas we had at the beginning and how some ideas were liked and weren't. This stage requires taking on lots of different feedback and adapting the layouts until we get it right. I find this stage really interesting to look back on at the end and see which elements we thought worked and which didn't.
